First a little background information.

The Camp Jackson Affair was an incident in the American Civil War on 10 May 1861, when Union military forces captured a pro-secession state militia at Camp Jackson, just outside Saint Louis, Missouri, and subsequently clashed with pro-secession rioters in the city.

Captain Constantin Blandowski, a Polish-American, was the company commander of company F in Colonel Franz Sigel's Third Missouri Volunteer Infantry Regiment at Camp Jackson where he received a leg wound. Captain Blandowski was wounded in the left leg near the knee and after an amputation he died of gangrene the next day making him the first Federal officer killed in the American Civil War.

To find the cache you must first find the unmarked grave of Constantin Blandowski.  From there you will go 347 feet at a bearing of 295 degrees.

Please note this cache is only available during daylight hours.  No night caching please!  And please be respectful of the cache location area. Cache should be easy to figure out and find and also remember there are numerous homes nearby, so moderate stealth may be required. And of course remember to bring your own writing implement.

Congratulations! FTF goes to ETZH
