Geocache Description:

This series of three caches will take you on a fairly steep hike above Niagara Canyon. 

This first one is about 20 meters off the trail, on a "Y" shaped leaning cedar.

You can either go up the north side of the falls starting at about 48 29.009/ 123 33.114, or hike along the Gold Mine Trail beginning at about 48 28.394 / 123 33.034; the trick is to turn at the trail head given...the trail on our OSM maps might be there, but we didn't see it. We did leave a piece of orange flagging at the turn off for you. PLEASE un-screw the WHOLE bat cape so it stays attached to the lid. 

May I suggest that, if you haven't already done it, you have a look at our For The Birds Two puzzle (GC188B5) before you head up.
