Geocache Description:

The bells 01 Have been trying to get is one up and running so have moved it to new spot. (I keep re placing the pen but it keeps walking off you may need bring your own!!)

The bells. #1 of 2 Both are on the Bellbird walk which goes through Leacocks Regional Park Most of the walk is easy from Casula station or Glenfeild station but from here it is a fair walk but you can grap a cache on the way at the car park. But the steps going up to Leacocks Lane are steep so care is needed! Easy access, parking and train near Casula train station. If only going for the two caches about 3 km walk but if you make a round trip and go via Glenfield farm house about 5 km Where there is a anther cache Which I have not found as of now but will soon. At GZ you will need to find a clip lock container well camouflaged but in a normal cache spot at GZ. This cache is on the new pathway that runs thought old Glenfield house land which in 1808 Governor Macquarie granted Charles Throsby a 1500 acres and was given the name of Glenfield covered all of the area around the Cross Roads and most of Casula. in 1919 Jim Leacock purchased the property and farmed it to 1971 in that time he estabished a good fendedship with the local Aboriginal people an open an aboriginal culture museum which as far as I can see is no longer open! may one day... Cache has log book, (I keep re placing the pen but it keeps walking off you may need bring your own!!) pen and can take small items and one or two small bugs/coins if like. As you go on the hunt keep your ears and eyes open for all of the birds and wildlife and the trains of course! Congratulations to TEAM CANARY FTF :-) :-p
