This cache is located in the unique 609 acre Strawberry Hill Nature Preserve, along one of it's peaceful 10 miles of hiking trails. The cache is named in relation to the television show Duck Dynasty. The reality show is based on the Robertsons family members, who are hard core duck hunters from Monroe LA and own a duck call company. It is popular among viewers of all ages, walks of life, and people with various outdoor interests. Much like Geocachers! While there is no actual duck hunting on the show, or at this nature preserve, it is more about the interaction of the family. There are no duck calls in the cache, but initial finders will find, DUCKS! There is also a FTF pin for First To Find!
You are looking for a camouflaged container, inside a tree, almost a mile in from the parking area, not far off the Swamp Creek Trail, (pink blazes). Stay on PINK trail til you see large rock on right, then turn right off trail toward deer fence. See photos from Maintenance Log 10/19/16 for help.
Apparently Strawberry Hill Trails are closed first two weeks of Dec. for HUNTING! So I'd suggest AFTER those two weeks, wearing ORANGE, ORANGE & more ORANGE. (just to be safe) And of course not going at all Dec. 1st thru 14th.
