Taikoo Place
Taikoo Place is a large business complex in Quarry Bay, owned and managed by Swire. This area of eastern Hong Kong Island is the former site of the Taikoo Sugar Refinery and Dockyard. With construction of the first modern commercial building in 1979, Taikoo Place is a prime example of Hong Kong's urban renewal with a further nine office towers constructed; the most recent, One Island East, was completed in 2008. Development of the site is ongoing, with, at time of cache placement, three of the older commercial buildings earmarked for redevelopment.

Points of interest
A large collection of artworks is on public display around the complex. These can be explored through the Artwalk which will also allow you to visit the somewhat futuristic glass walkways connecting the various office towers. In addition, ArtisTree, a multi-purpose art space in Cornwall House, features a varied programme of temporary exhibitions and events. For a spectacular view over the entire complex, take the direct lift from the ground floor to the 37th floor of One Island East where there is public sky lobby with a 180-degree panorama of the eastern end of Victoria Harbour; this is definitely worth a visit.

Getting there
To get to Taikoo Place, take the MTR to Quarry Bay. From Exit A, cross the road at the pedestrian crossing and walk down Tong Chong Street or turn right and take the glass bridge directly into Taikoo Place.
About the cache
The tall buildings will scramble your GPS. Google Maps and Streetview are your friends for this one. OSM places the site on the north side of the street when the cache is actually on the south side. My own GPS average is closest to Google's, so Google's my suggestion.
For the survival of the cache, please use your stealthiest superpowers if attempting at any time during the daytime; frankly it is not recommended to attempt this one during office hours at all. Beware of smoking office muggles and security muggles. Please replace the cache well out of sight.
To extract the logsheet, tap the open end of the container gently on a hard surface and it should slide out a little. Or you can use some very slim tweezers to get the logsheet out. The logsheet is waterproof paper - use a pencil or ballpoint pen to sign, gel pen doesn't work. Finally, please don't post spoiler photos; thank you.
