You are invited to attend an Event at The Lazy Parrot Backyard BBQ at 532 Panteps Center in Charlottesville on Thursday, April 10th at 7:30PM or as soon as you can make it.
I am visiting Charlottesville for a Road Scholar program, studying "The World of Jefferson, Madison and Monroe". I would really like to meet some local Cachers during my stay in Charlottesville.
I am an Oregonian living in Vancouver, Washington which is located north of the Columbia River from Portland, Oregon. Vancouver is about 10 miles north of downtown Portland, 165 miles south of Seattle, and 275 miles south of Vancouver, British Columbia.
I am Rose Red - not the Stephen King's Rose Red but the Brothers Grimm's Rose Red from "Snow White and Rose Red". I have been Geocaching since October 2004. My first Geocache find was the Ash Grove Bug Hotel (GCHF7Q) in Virginia with my eldest son wilsonjw. I was so impressed by this historical geocache that when I returned home to Vancouver, Washington I created several historical geocaches.
I have created mostly historical geocaches in North Portland and Clark County, Washington. I have created 1,052 Waymarks - primarily U.S. NRHP and Glacial Lake Missoula Flood Features. I have found 494 Benchmarks. I have found 67 EarthCaches in seven states, and created six EarthCaches in Oregon. I found 169 Virtuals. I have attended 51 Geocoin Challenges and six Cache Machines in Oregon and Washington.
Come to swap Geocaching Tall Tales. And have some great food and drinks!
