A magic geolever has a couple of unique features. It is curved to match the surface of the earth, and even when balanced at a fulcrum well above sea level, conforms to distances measured in WGS84. Despite being curved, it follows the usual rules for straight levers when balancing.
When I wanted to place this cache, there was a 450 pound rock covering the ideal place. Fortunately, there is a magic geolever whose fulcrum is at the summit of Grandeur Peak, which for the purposes of this puzzle is at N 40 42.435 W 111 45.580.
I wedged one end of the geolever under the rock, and then went down to the corner of Wasatch Blvd and Millstream Lane. Specifically N 40 41.704 W 111 47.737. I applied my weight of 180 lbs, and the rock balanced! I left a 180 pound counterweight there, then ran up to place the cache. I then replaced the 450 pound rock with a somewhat smaller rock, and headed home.

The cache is close to a very popular trail, so be discrete. Take a photo or make a sketch of the container. It will be the subject of an upcoming puzzle.
