The Veterans Park Community Center built in 2006 is located at 508 North Lincoln across from Cabot High School. Amenities include: multi-purpose basketball courts, 25 yard indoor pool, therapy pool, locker and shower facilities, concession stand, indoor walking track, cardio equipment, meeting/fitness room, child care area, and computer stations along with a big screen TV and a WII system. We have facilities available for rent whether for a party, family reunion, reception, or a special event, etc. This center also houses the Cabot Parks and Recreation administrative offices.
Names of local veterans are memorialized in stone to honor those men and women who fought in foreign wars. Special ceremonies are held on days of remembrance, especially on Memorial Day and Veterans Day.
