Deep within the Sea King's castle is a small grotto. Standing in this grotto is a geocache. To find this geocache you will need to be able to free-dive several metres and hold your breath comfortably for an extended period. I also recommend you:
- Go during lowest tide
- Take an underwater torch
- Take a friend with equal swimming skills
- Take a length of rope you can thread through the cache to assist retrieval
- Wear gloves
- Make sure you are neutrally bouyant
- You can possibly take scuba gear. A competent free-diver won't really need this.
Use the main entrance. Swim towards the smaller entrance. It is on your right.
The cache is a short section of storm-water pipe, with a smaller container within. It contains a logbook, pencil and cache note
It has proven to require a bit of force to open the cache. I don't really have a solution to this, except bring someone with strong hands. When done, please only do it up firmly.
About 50m East of the cache there is a string of other holes. Most are too small to enter. However, there is one which most people, even children, would be pretty comfortable investigating, I have added a waypoint with the location of this other hole. From here, if you walk out another 100m or so roughly South-East, you will find a couple of holes the water flows out of quite quickly, though these are too small to enter, but worth having a look at.
