This route was mapped out for a night hike by 24th Macclesfield Scout group, hence the name.
This route of about 3 miles is best started from Ridgegate reservoir (opposite the Leather Smithy) and followed in a clockwise direction.
There are a number of farm fields on the way back. Although the terrain is fairly undulating the footpaths follow the contours fairly well so is not too strenuous.
It is near a very quiet single track route, so whilst it could be done as a drive by, this wouldn't be recommended.
The cache is in a 35mm sized container which can be retrieved without crouching, bending or climbing, though a small amount of leaning may be necessary.
