Geocache Description:

Harris Riverfront Park stretches along the Ohio River bordering the downtown area. The park provides a tranquil setting and beautiful scenery for family outings, picnics, peaceful or romantic walks along the River walk, fishing, or boating. The Park includes a playground, picnic shelter, amphitheater, floating stage, a river walk as well as a boat dock and boat ramp.

We invite everyone to meet at the posted coordinates at 9:45 am and stay for about 45 minutes . We will provide trash bags and non latex gloves for those in attendance. Please bring your own work gloves and dress warm with something over your ears if it is a cool morning. The breeze along the Ohio River can be a bit chilly. Enjoy the walk along the river while we all do our part to help clean up and give back to the community. After the CITO, we can make our way over to the Cabell County Geotrail Kickoff Event (GC4WJFQ) at 11 am. We will have warm beverages, some morning breakfast food, and a FTF prize for one lucky winner.

Permission for the CITO has been granted by the Greater Huntington Parks and Recreation District.
