This cache is off a dirt road that follows the Hondo River. If you are comfortable driving your vehicle on a rough dirt road, you can drive up very close to the cache. If you choose to hike, then you may want to park at the nearby baseball fields (it will be a good 20 minute hike for you). This is desert terrain, so the area has cacti, goatheads, ants, and other things like that. Please be careful. Also, the climate can be hot and dry, so please stay hydrated.
