This year, La Kedi is celebrating the fact that she's made it to the age of 40 relatively intact, and would like to invite you all to celebrate this milestone with her. If all goes according to plan, the event itself is also going to be her 4000th find on geocaching.com, because the happy congruence of the numerals seems to be excellent feng shui. Given her natural and indisputable ability to injure herself on every geocaching outing, she needs all the feng shui she can get! And maybe a bubble...
Teralba Park is the place to be should you wish to join the celebrations, let's say around 11am. It's a fairly enormous park just north of Brookside, which means easy access by bus or train for anyone without a car, not to mention being an excellent place to find food if you don't want to bring a picnic. Parking is available at the listed coordinates plus all along the surrounding roads. There's a multilevel playground and heaps of room for your rugrats to run around in, bike paths, barbeques and facilities at GZ, and a few shelters, though you might wish to bring your own chairs. Plus, over 150 caches within 5 kilometres. Among others, you're also close to the famous Wingaap Way and in K8'n'Co territory, both hiders of great renown.
So, bring your snags and picnic items of choice, your rug and your smiles, and join La Kedi for her 40th birthday and 4000th find.
