Geocache Description:

Lunch With Goosey.

On Sunday 23rd February @ 12 noon. Please meet @ Willey Moor Tavern for geochat, TB and Coin Swaps. Food is available 12:00- 14:00 Please can you specify in your log as to whether you intend to eat.

Willey Moor Lock No 12 is a minor waterways place on the Shropshire Union Canal (Llangollen Canal - Main Line) between Whitchurch Branch Junction (Junction of Whitchurch Branch with Llangollen Canal) (2 miles and 6¼ furlongs and 7 locks to the south) and Marbury Lock No 10 (Marbury village ½ a mile south) (2 miles and 2½ furlongs and 1 lock to the east). The nearest place in the direction of Whitchurch Branch Junction is Povey's Lock No 13; 2¾ furlongs away. The nearest place in the direction of Marbury Lock No 10 is Willey Moor Lock Footbridge; a few yards away. This is a lock with a rise of 6ft.
