ICS 133 - Monthly Challenge - February Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

Ice and Wind: Unfortunately I have to archive this cache listing as the land manager has contacted us and informed us this cache does not comply with the current Idaho Power Company Geocaching Guidelines, enacted as of 7/31/15.
Idaho Power Company (IPC) provides geocaching opportunities on IPC lands to provide interesting facts and educational opportunities related to hydropower, history, geology, and the natural environment.

In order to meet Groundspeak Inc. requirements and maintain community standards related to cache siting, IPC has established the following guidelines for private geocaching on IPC owned lands:
No private geocache may be sited on IPC owned property without prior IPC authorization. Contact geocaching@idahopower.com prior to installing or placing a geocache. Please note that
Geocaching.com will not authorize new geocaches on private lands without proof of landowner consent.

The Fundamental Placement Guidelines provided by Groundspeak Inc. and all local laws and documented land management policies also govern the physical location of any geocache placed
with permission on IPC lands. Prior to placing and submitting geocaches, please read the
guidelines and the Regional Geocaching Policies Wiki provided at https://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines

As this cache did not have permission granted prior to placement, I have (at the request of Idaho Power Co. ) archived this listing. Please remove the container at your earliest convenience. If you have any questions regarding this policy or would like to pursue obtaining permission please contact IPC directly at geocaching@idahopower.com.

Thank you for your understanding.

Regards.

Geocache Description:

The Idaho Challenge Series
(A subset of the Idaho Quality Trail - IQT)

These caches are maintained by the League of Idaho Geocachers. Ranking may also reflect difficulty of meeting requirements.

THE CACHE IS AT THE POSTED COORDINATES, BUT THERE IS A SPECIAL LOGGING REQUIREMENT.

CHALLENGE:

A call or summons to engage in any contest, as of skill, strength, to engage in a contest, fight, or competition: a challenge to a duel, something that by its nature or character serves as a call to battle, contest, special effort, etc.

You won't be fighting overgrown giants, matching wits with a chess master or performing Olympic feats of athleticism to log these caches. You may physically log them at any time but you must meet the requirements to log them online.

The cache IS located at the posted coordinates. To be able to claim a find on this cache, you will need to:

Spell out the name of the Challenge Month (in this case FEBRUARY) with caches whose names begin with letters that spell February and have been found in the past. It can be from any Cache Owner and you can even use the same Owner more than once as long as you use separate Cache Names as part of your finds. One more trick. In order to claim this as a find you must have found the caches with the monthly name In That Month. So for this cache, all found caches must have been found by you in the month of February. Any year is fine but all finds have to be in February. If you use GSAK there are two macro files you can use to make your life easier. The two you will want to use for this are SpellMonths.gsk and FilterbyMonth.gsk.

You may use any type caches you have found at any time. Finds without the proper documentation will be deleted. Please document your meeting of the challenge in a way that is clear to all.
