The final in "scenic waterways" series. Beautiful scenery in this swampland. Visitors, welcome to swampland! Don't ya just hate it when you take a trip and forget a toiletry? Thank goodness for the front desk who is always there to help. Forgot your toothbrush? We're on it. Need soap? You got it sir. Need shampoo, be right up! Need an eye opener?? Coffee's ready! Need a razor? FORGET ABOUT IT. Those cheapo razors will tear your face off. Just grow a beard for a few days! Oh and don't forget about lost keys. Thank goodness they're digital now and easily replaced. This hotel cache isn't so modern sorry to say. For the cache, you'll have to find a tool of the trade located nearby. The clue to the whereabouts of this nifty hide-a-key is found at the waypoint. Please BE CAREFUL with the containers. Do not force anything open. Do not use your own tool please. Everything needed is attainable with what management has left for you. Maybe you'll get lucky and spot a very large alligator which are abundant in this area. Park on the side of the road, be careful of passing cars (rare but they do tend to speed).
The land you're standing on was 5 feet under water when Katrina rolled through, by the way. Have a look at the branches above that look like fish spines. (subjective, as pointed out by 2mudbugs)
