Geocache Description:

Old tale with a new twist.

Once upon a time, ten orphans ended up in the 'care' of an unscrupulous man, Giesman, in a horrible place, which children past thru often. Giesman, was particular in sourcing an item of great value in the current climate. Heavy Transport Class 1 (HTC1)2licenses, an Engineer HTC1 license were especially good, to operate heavy machinery. These would fetch high prices at the Auction House. Giesman's inside man was Herman Thompson (HT), a man with gambling depts owed to Giesman.

Henceforth, Giesman sort these Engineer HTC1 licenses with vigour. He'd send out his orphans to pick the pockets of Heavy Transport license holders at truck stops even pie shops all over the city. When Giesman scored one of these licenses he'd take it to the auctions and his inside man HT, with his signature bow-tie and goldtone vest, would be instructed to get the best price for the license.

When obvious buyers would present themselves Giesman would signal HT to make bids upto XXXI silver pieces (in old money). Giesman would always factor ezy money making schemes into the equation. Giesman would steer HT into getting the most out of a bidder. HT was a guru of increasing bids without raising suspicion. This occasion something seemed queer. HT was not his usual self even though he has sold many of the Engineer HTC1 license that Giesman brought to sell. Geisman didn't see the man in the suit of ecru offer HT something important before the auctions, amnesty. The man in the suit of ecru was the fuzz. The game was up! It's the clink for the nasty Giesman, and a happy ending for nine orphans.
