The Pinewood Road Poltergeist
In 1977 Mr and Mrs Goose moved into a nineteenth century property in Pinewood Road (just a tad further up from the GZ) and discovered shortly afterwards that things were happening in their cellar.
On one occasion Mr Ron Goose (who seemed to be the main focus of the activity) reported that a nail dropped from nowhere onto his foot, and on another occasion, a piece of steel dropped from nowhere onto the bench next to him. He also reported finding bent drill bits, and weirdest of all was when he felt someone kick him in the leg. The most outrageous reported incident was when he dropped a tack on the floor, and when he bent to reclaim it, it had turned into a razor blade!
Eventually the couple called in a medium to bless the house. She was taken to the cellar and spoke a few words words and then blew in the air. A couple of days later Ron reported being in the cellar and feeling someone or something blow in his face. Since then .......... nothing!
