Helo a croeso i'r 4ydd cache yn y gyfres Sgowtiaid Tŷ-du!
Hello and welcome to the 4th cache in the Rogerstone Scouts series!

The cache is located along the Ebbw River at one end of the bridge.
This section of the river splits up the housing estate of 'Afon Village' meaning River Village when translated from Welsh.
The section located close to the railway line was once the former Rogerstone Power station which was demolished in 1991 to allow the estate to be built which was first planned 25 years ago.

Another cache - Rogerstone Power Station (GC1M9HX) gives more information on this.
The river is a popular dog walking trail / cycle path so their may be high levels of muggles on dry days so stealth is required.
The river further downstream where it meets the A467:

The cache itself is a nano.
Please make sure to hide the cache so it cannot be easily seen from the bridge.
Congratulations to Von-Horst for the FTF!
If you have any queries on the cache location or anything else you can email us via the geocaching mail service via my profile page.
Thank-you for looking and Happy Caching
Rogerstone Scouts.
P.S. Due to the amount of metal in the area and the 10m GPS signal accuracy when placing the cache, the hint may be useful!
