Geocache Description:

There are several different types of rock fish. Morone saxatilis is the official fish of the State of Maryland. Acanthoclinus littoreus is found in New Zealand. Scyliorhinus stellaris, also known as rock salmon, is a small shark from the northeast Atlantic. And now we have Rockius cacheus on the NCT.


This is one of my favorite spots along this section of the North County Trailway. Enjoy the bench and the view.

Note - this hide is not very snow friendly, so I upped the difficulty rating to reflect that. During non-snow conditions this is a relatively simple find.
