ALR - Israel Creek Bridge Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

lpyankeefan: Stopped by today to check on this one while I was in the area. While the cache was found in good shape it's quite removed from most traffic. As such I decided to pull it and possibly free up the spot for someone else if they so desire.

It was active from Monday, January 20th, 2014 until Sunday, January 06th, 2019 (4 years, 11 months, 18 days...a total of 1,813 days). In that time there were 75 Finds, 0 DNF's and a total of 90 TB's and Geocoins traveled through the cache at the time that it was archived.

As to this cache:

'It's passed on! This event is no more! It has ceased to be! 'It's expired and gone to meet 'is maker! 'It's a stiff! Bereft of life, It rests in peace! If you hadn't nailed 'it to the perch 'it'd be pushing up the daisies! 'It's metabolic processes are now 'istory! 'It's off the twig! 'It's kicked the bucket, 'It's shuffled off 'is mortal coil, run down the curtain and joined the bleedin' choir invisible!! THIS IS AN EX-CACHE!! [xx(]

Geocache Description:

Out in South County this evening and decided to hop off the main drag and take the road less traveled. While placing this cache I first watched a fellow sawing fire wood and then hada nice chat with him about the impending weather. Since I had a few extra containers in the car I decided to place a cache for you to find. Enjoy!

The container you seek is 35mm film canister containing a few logsheets and a stashnote explaining geocaching. Parking is available directly adjacent to the cache hiding spot. Please do make sure that you're well off the route of travel but please DO NOT block any of the nearby lanes or driveways. Space is provided for a car or two with plenty of room left over.

To claim this cache:

1.) Find the cache.
2.) Sign the log.

While not necessary to claim a "find" on this cache those who wish to may choose to do the following ALR actions.

3.) Post a photo of you with your GPSr in hand and the scenery in the background.
4.) Tell a bit about what you found while off the beaten path OR what brought you here today.

While this is noted as being an “Additional Logging Request" (ALR) Geocache, that moniker is only for those who choose voluntarily to take on further tasks. The only true requirements are the first two. Treat it like a virtual or an ALR, but it’s got a container and a log to sign too. Have fun!

Many thanks to The Perryzip Crew for ideas and inspiration.

FTF honors go to gz1453!!! Congratulations!!!
