This can be an easy C & D if you are traveling Route 15 North to Williamsport, Pa. However, you should take some time to enjoy the scenic view. If you have binoculars you should bring them.
Note that due to 2013 PennDot Highway Safety improvements the parking area is Only accessible from the Northbound lane. There are Turnarounds and pulloffs about 1 mile both North or South. You should notice as you pull into the parking area a sign, see Gallery for photo, designating "Blue Star Memorial Highway". Of course you can Google that and find out lots of info.
There is a much older cache at the other end of the parking lot. Because I found a nice hiding spot the required 528 feet away from that other cache, I thought that getting 2 smileys at one nice stop would be great, so I put mine over here.
