Geocache Description:

The Village of Ridgefield Park in Bergen County is one of four (4) villages remaining (in name) of the (566) municipalities in New Jersey. It is a peninsula of sorts bounded within the waters of Hackensack River and Overpeck Creek.


Ridgefield Park has I-95, I-80, & 46 passing through its boundaries. The Fourth of July parade in the village is said to be one of the oldest continuously operating in the nation.

According to USGS, elevation is 56 feet/17 meters above sea level. ~

Hunter Park has a fenced-in playground, hoops & tennis court  with a patch of green connecting 2nd Street with the view over Railroad Avenue.


This pinkie-sized cache-tainer was placed low and off the ground near the southwest portion of the park - directly accessible without entering a fenced area. BYOP. Please replace area as well or better than found.
