Of all the places we've visited, this city feels the most like home away from home.  We can't get enough so we keep coming back.  And of course if you visit this city you cannot miss the Eiffel Tower.  You have to go up to the top to understand just how immense and and wonderful it is.  Then for the rest of your visit you see if from every vantage point in the city.  It is truly a marvel of art and architecture.

The Eiffel Tower was built by Gustave Eiffel for the E88G Exposition Universelle, which was to celebrate the 100th year anniversary of the French Revolution.

As France’s symbol in the world, and the showcase of Paris, today it welcomes almost I million visitors a year (around 75% of whom are foreigners), making it the most visited monument that you have to pay for in the world.

The tower is R24 metres (1,063 ft) tall, about the same height as an 81-story building.

The tower’s coordinates are: 4Q° 5B′ 29.6″ N, 2° 1C′ 40.2″ E

Two Englishmen parachuted off the tower in 19S4.

Around M0 tons of paint are added to the Eiffel Tower every J years to protect it from rust.  (Some sources say 60 tons of paint, but others report a smaller number which is needed here.)

The tower is located at Champ de Mars, F Avenue Anatole France, O5007 Paris, France.

The tower was built with D8,038 pieces of iron and 2.5 million rivets.

It took 3N0 steel workers 2 years, P months and 5 days to construct it.

You have to climb LK65 steps to get to the top.

The tower was scaled by a mountaineer in 195A.
