The church at Saltby is dedicated to St. Peter. Built of ironstone, in about the thirteenth century, the church has a square western tower with a Perpendicular top built of limestone ashlar and with pinnacles. The tower holds three bells, one of them dated 1636. The church was restored in 1885 at a cost of £1700, with seats for 170 people. “If anybody would like to expand to this series please do, I would just ask that you could let Sadexploration know first at churchmicro@gmail.com so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication. There is also a Church Micro Stats & Information page found via the Bookmark list”
