Geocache Description:

The road to Eagle can be a long one but there should be some fun along the way.  I have started this Cache to Eagle series to promot Eagle projects in the Four Rivers District while enjoying geocaching.  This particular location is the only one without an embeded plaque.  Once you locate the project and you are a Boy Scout, email the OC and identify what the project is to get credit for the find to receive the patch for the 12 projects.

This cache is for patch swapping. Scouts get patches for all types of things, so bring one along and trade it here. Since there is not a plaque identifying this project as an Eagle project, you must discover the project that this patriotic scout has placed.  The scout who lead this project noted a need and wanted to provide a lasting help to scouts and others who followed.  The cache box has patches to swap.  It is common for scouts to trade patches with each other to remember each other by.  Often patches are collected by scouts to remember activities they attended.  Here we recognize that part of scouting and invite people joining us to trade a patch.  Scouts completing all 12 will receive a Cache to Eagle patch by notifying the OC that he has completed the 12 along with the troop where the patch should be sent.  All other cachers, thanks for taking a moment to visit our cache, we hope you can appreciate the hard work done by these boys on their road to Eagle. All of the 12 caches in this series are within the district boundaries.  There is a FTF coin for the first cacher at this site.  Also there is a beautiful BSA Caching Coin for the first cacher to complete the series of 12.  The cache box is conveniently located just outside of muggle reach from the Eagle project.  Please do not post the answer in your log, thanks and happy caching.
