Geocache Description:


Welcome to my little tour of West Wicklow, the West Side Story series! These are some of my favourite spots to visit and I hope you enjoy them.





This one, the second of the series, is in Hollywood. When you are at the cache site make sure you take the time follow the path to the top and visit Saint Kevin.

There is a path most of the way. Roughly the last 150m involves climbing over rocks and boulders. Watch your footing here, ground can be muddy in winter or wet conditions.
The cache has a combination lock on it to protect it from muggles. The code is the last three digits of the west coordinates.
Watch out for Billie Jean the goat who helped me plant the cache


When you arrive at the given coordinates, you will be standing at the mouth of a cave. The next part is all up to you.
Before you enter the cave, make sure you have a torch, as you will have no chance without it




As this is a letterbox hybrid, you must search for the cache without exact GPS coordinates and rely on your geo senses.


How to find the cache:


From the given coordinates, walk 10m to the mouth of the cave.
Walk in 3 metres and stop. 2 metres to your left at shoulder height you will find a quite large cache container
The cache is LOCKED. You need the last 3 digits of the WEST coordinates given to unlock the cache.


You MUST bring a torch as this is a very dark cave

Be careful when exploring as the rocks can be slippy

IMPORTANT! The required stamp and ink are in a small box within the cache, this MUST stay in the cache as this is not for trade!
