Germanna Foundation has given permission for Geocachers to enter the No Trespassing areas. They are really there to keep out naughty people. You may park at the Foundation building (GC3EXQ3)or in Germanna Community College parking lot (see below parking waypoint.) Walk past the building and head toward the river on the Red Trail. These trails are better than a bushwack but not groomed. Trail is clearly marked with Red Blazes. After 2 miles it intersects with the Blue Spur trail to the cache. See below waypoint and related web page. Total hike would be less than 5 miles, hilly, without a water source. Alway be careful of hunters (no hunting on property allowed,) and icky wicky things.
