Willington wander 5 Traditional Cache

This cache is hidden in an area that used to be two large spoil heaps from the nearby Brancepeth colliery

several years ago it was planted with trees and some footapths were made and is now a pleasant area to walk around .

You can often see kestrals searching the landscape and if you are lucky, at dusk Barn Owls can occasionaly be seen

There is a good view across the valley from this vantage point and there is a interesting bench to sit on
