An easy park and grab cache on Rangiwahia Road. Pull off the main road, enjoy the views and have a rest.
Having stated that we'd like to place a cache for each 100 found, we recently breached the 1800 mark, so another hide was required. Whilst travelling the back road from Rangiwahia to Kimbolton we spied an alter ego for the Gorge Road, it's called Gorge Road. There have been times in the past when it's been closed due to slips too! There are great views and stunning scenery all the way around here that we wanted to share.
When placed the cache is a small 'logbook' in a non-camoed (blue) Eclipse mint tin, please BYOP.
This was a fairly impromptu placement using stuff from the car and we intend to upgrade to a better container next time we pass this way.
Enjoy the views of the valleys, and bluffs ahead.
Ideal to stretch those legs before the twisty turny road to Kimbolton.
Please cover well again once found.
