Become a much more efficient cacher. We have assembled a tremendous amount of how-to information into one simple, easy-to-follow basic course on how to use GSAK. JUST THE BASICS. Upon completion, you will be able to create a database of caches, load them into your GPS, upload your finds to GSAK, search the database in different combinations, use two basic macros and create a database of all your personal finds. Once you possess these basics, you will be able to take GSAK to whatever level you desire.
There will be a step-by-step syllabus issued to each participant.
Needed for class:
A PC, preferably a laptop and no more than two people per PC.
GPS
Cable to connect GPS and computer
Flash drive
The most recent GSAK account, paid or free. Newest version is 8.3.1.103
You must have a Geocaching.com premium membership. (Not my requirement, GSAK only communicates with Geocaching.com through a premium membership).
