Quatro anos e meio passados na actividade do Geocaching e cá está o nosso quarto evento de CITO, para ajudar a Natureza. Dia 26 de Abril das 9,00 ás 13,00 horas, local de encontro junto a Escola Básica Avelar Brotero em Odivelas.

A colaboração e o empenhamento de todos é importante! Obrigado! Equipamento aconselhável: trazer roupa resistente, luvas e instrumentos necessários na ajuda à apanha do lixo.

A Câmara Municipal de Odivelas e a Junta de Freguesia de Odivelas, disponibilizará a viatura e a Valorsul os sacos de recolha do lixo. O CITO fica marcado para às 9.00h, e terminará por volta da hora de almoço, quem desejar vir mais tarde para o pic-nic, é bem vindo.

Cache In Trash Out é uma iniciativa ambiental em curso apoiados pela comunidade de geocaching em todo o mundo. Desde 2002, geocachers têm sido dedicados a limpeza de parques e outros locais cache-friendly do mundo.

Através destes esforços voluntários, que ajudam a preservar a beleza natural dos nossos recursos ao ar livre! Anualmente, comemoramos Internacional Cache In Trash Out eventos onde geocachers têm a oportunidade de participar de forma coordenada a nível mundial esforços de limpeza.

Outros geocachers farão eventos na sua área local no mesmo dia ou fim de semana com geocachers em todo o mundo. Juntos, vamos fazer um enorme impacto positivo. Isso sem mencionar que também temos um pouco de diversão enquanto estamos nele?

Geocache to Clean Up Trash International Cache In Trash Out weekend is nearly here! Cache In Trash Out (CITO) is an effort by the geocaching community to clean up parks and other cache-friendly places around the world. You can make a difference by picking up litter on every geocaching outing and by attending a CITO Event Cache. CITO Events are organized by geocachers and may involve assisting with a clean-up, removal of invasive species or revegetation efforts.

CITO Events are held throughout the year, but the initiative gains special focus for one weekend around Earth Day each year, when the worldwide geocaching community holds CITO Events to benefit their local spaces. The 9th annual Cache In Trash Out weekend is scheduled for April 30th – May 1st, 2011.

CITO Events are open to everyone. Participate in a CITO event near you to meet your fellow geocachers, add a CITO icon to your geocaching stats, and help preserve the beauty of the places where you love to go geocaching! There are many events scheduled for the dates surrounding April 30th, so make sure to check out the CITO Event calendar today.
