Urban Hiker Series #8 Traditional Cache

You are looking for a regular-sized container (might be familiar to the locals that have done a few caches around here) hidden in a public use area along the Hocking River. There is no need to go anywhere close to the river itself. The cache will be off the maintained area in a bit of thick brush. Getting to it could be tougher in the summer months.
 

Athens is really blessed to have some great opportunities for hiking right in the city. This series will take cachers on a stroll along the Hocking River area. None of the caches are directly accessible from the bike path. When soccer games are going on there may be quite a few muggles to the west, so please use stealth.

NOTE: The additional waypoint for parking is at the far eastern end of the series. There are other available parking areas at various points along the trail.
