Geocache Description:


A stroll along the creek past Standard Quay and through Iron Wharf takes you to the location of the cache. Standard Quay is accessible through Abbey Street. A refreshing walk through the boatyard will show a history of Faversham and its industrial heritage. Lots of wildlife on show over the marshes which is an area popular amongst bird-watchers. Pubs are nearby for refreshment.

The cache is placed with permission from Iron Wharf Boatyard and Natural England. The area is an SSSI, so please keep to the paths. You can not drive to this cache a walk is necessary from any direction. We hope to make the cache a little bit bigger eventually. Take some pictures on a nice day please. It's a fantastic spot.
