Stoke Managers - Mick Mills Traditional Cache

A series of caches placed around Trentham to celebrate the managers, good and bad, of Stoke City Football Club.

A variety of caches have been placed, some harder to find than others, I hope you enjoy finding them all. I have lived in Trentham all my life and I hope you enjoy my little trail I have laid out for you, hopefully your geocaching adventures will take you on a nice little walk around Trentham.

Mick Mills was tasked with getting Stoke premoted again after we had just finished the season with a record low points tally. Hampered by having to sell his best players in order to balance the books. After one final attempt with a transfer budget of just over one million pounds he still failed to mount any sort of premotion challage. After 4 uneventful seasons Mills finally quit in Nov 1989..
