2Brachs: Due to the impending demolition of the former Bank of America and adjacent Denny's building for a new SunTrust branch location to be built at GZ, and extension of Centerway Road through the shopping center, we have decided it would be best NOT to ressurect this cache here. We are retiring this one, but keep your eyes open for a new one to come to surface once all the construction work is finished in a few years.

Geocache Description:

In 1970, Village Mall opened as an indoor shopping mall. In 1989 it was converted into what is known today as Montgomery Village Shopping Center. If you grew up in the Montgomery Village area as a child or have fond memories of this mall, please share in your log posting. This is the first in a series of historical Montgomery Village caches.

The cache you are looking for is in a high muggle area - especially on weekends. Stealth is required! Log file only, BYOP. Cache contains a small gift for the FTF. This is our very first of many cache hides to come! Congratulations to ProdigiousOne for FTF!
