Are we detecting a theme, yet?
Anyway, the theme is racing. In cars. To this end, I bring you to this glorious darkened car park, where I hope to meet you all at 7pm to quickly sign a log book (because it'll no doubt be freezin') while we have some quick geo-chat, and take some pics.
At 7.15, then, those who wish, may stay on to participate in our own little race. There's no real danger involved and the mini-geocachers may race, too. Of course, you're not obliged to participate in order to log the find, but the race winner will be elected FTF.

Along one side of the dark car park is TT Models, the home of the largest slot car track (Scalextric-type thing) I've ever seen! It's six lanes wide and ... well, see the photo.
The staff here will coach us through a Grand Prix style event, normally consisting of 12 races each. Everyone races on each lane so it's fair and the winner (FTF!) is points based. The event should last around 2 hours (depending on numbers) and the cost is £7.50 for adults and £6 for under 16s.
Tea / coffee are included in your fee. You may purchase chocolate at the counter, or bring your own food as we have the use of the equipped kitchen.
Please let me know in your Will Attend log how many under 16s and how many over 16s will be racing. Thanks.
