Congratulations! You have reached the beach. This is Te Werahi Beach. Bring your fishing or surfing gear, theres some great spots here if you have the time to lug a surfboard for an hours walk. When we came through the beach to the south of here at cape Maria Van Diemen was perfect 5 foot right hand barrels. Heaven for a surfer, just not easily accessed.
This walk is part of a loop which takes you past Cape Maria Van Diemen and Twighlight beach to the south. See the attached webpage for information about the walks in the area.
