Quite simply near a sign warning of the soft sands. Please exercise common sense and bring a vehicle that can handle driving along 90 mile beach and up the Te Paki Stream. Alternativly you may prefer to park at the giant sand dunes tourist attraction carpark at the head of the stream and walk the 2-3 kilometers along the stream or over the dunes.
This cache also happens to have two brothers. They were all made from the same mold. Cape Maria Van Diemen Light house is the North islands most westerly geocache and is on Cape Maria Van Diemen, just south of Cape Reinga. and Vodka, Gin, Rum! can be found in Spirits bay. Find one and you will have a huge advantage for the other two.
