Memorial Park Traditional Cache

This is a lovely reserve beside the Macleay River which has toilets, water and a great heritage hotel across the road. The whole town is filled with buildings of great heritage value. 

The cache is a small tube and contains a log sheet only, it's not far from the hotel so sit down and take a look about. There are numerous picnic shelters nearby where you can relax and breathe in the wonderful clean air, and occasionally get a fragrance from MILO across the river at Smithtown. Grab a coffee & meal from the old heritage bank building nearby which has been turned into a restaurant, or have a steak in the pub over the road. There are so many things to see & do in Gladstone. But don't come looking for the cache on the third Sunday of the month as that's when the markets are on here and it would be muggle paradise . Stealth is required sometimes and if there are muggles about and close to GZ, then maybe introduce them to Geocaching .
