This is a fairly clean mountain so please, CITO to help keep it this way. If you know the area well enough, you should be able to reach the top of this mountain by staying on the trail that starts at the trail head. However, some of the grades are fairly steep so take your time to stop now and then if need be. Look around and take in the scenery this mountain has to offer. We've seen foxes, deer, wild turkey, bob cats and of course squirrel and rabbits on this mountain. There is no shortage of wildlife, for sure.
The container is a semi-camouflaged diabetic test strip container that only holds a few log sheets. Please put the container back in the exact manner you have found it so as to preserve the difficulty for this one. Bring your own pen and enjoy the hike and the cache. :-D
**There are no trespassing signs at the trail head. If you are simply hiking the mountain and leave no trash behind, permission is granted to hike here. Please be respectful and leave nothing behind.**
This hike ascends 773 feet according to my GPS. The cache is a micro as described above. If a simple log sheet isn't enough of a reward after achieving such a fantastic hike, you may want to avoid this cache altogether. This one is about the journey and the beauty of the area where the cache is placed.
