Geocache Description:

Nothing special about the cache, but something very special about the location. You can pull off and park within twenty feet of the cache.

According to GPB, Jaybird Springs was built in 1903 and was the first public swimming pool in Georgia. The 60 by 100 ft pool was filled with mineral water and no chemicals were used. It was drained, cleaned, and refilled weekly. People from all around would come to drink the water from the spring because they felt it had healing powers. The cache is located near an old structure. Please post if you know what this was.
