Geocache Description:

This cache was placed in the winter along a snowmobile trail. It is our hope that spring will find it not too wet and poison ivy free. We created this as a roughly one mile loop. By parking at Dysarts at the corner of Griffin and Broadway, cachers wishing to do the loop should start with Aran. Suggested order would be Aran, Chimay, Callanish, Skye, Roma, Mdina, and Malta.
NOTE: please bring your own pen or pencil.

Roma: The Eternal City. We have been very fortunate to travel to many places. Most of them have been the ‘road less traveled’, but occasionally we have found ourselves in major world cities. There is just too much to say about Rome. We played the typical tourist and hit every ‘must see’. This is definitely on our ‘want to go back” list. Favorite return to will be the Piazza Navona. It’s stunning fountains, artists, cafes, and people watching is a fantastic place to sit back and enjoy a glass of the local vino. Illuminati (GC1WD4D) was right across a bridge for our hotel, making it a quick find.
Our Roma wandered onto our back porch one cold winter day, almost starved to death. With her ribcage visible through her black coat, it was clear that she was in need of a home. We are happy to report she's doing very well now!
