Matyholweni Traditional Cache

Matyholweni, means “in the bush” in Xhosa, is located near the coastal town of Colchester at the Sundays River Mouth, 3 km off the N2 highway. Matyholweni is easily accessible and provides a gateway into the Addo Elephant National Park.

A 40km drive from Port Elizabeth along the N2 and you are in the Addo, home to the densest population of African Elephants on the planet.

The Cache is a quick park and grab. Please be aware of Muggles, especially the security guard. He might be very suspicious if you arrive and don't actually enter the park.
