This is an area that was formally called Lake Towers. I recently found out about this location on the internet. If you were on the lake in a boat or on the ice, you would be able to see the engraving on the nearby wall.

Lake Towers was originally a summer home of Martin and Johanna Metzner. They also had a cottage for guests, and this area of the lake was referred to as "Metzner Beach." Years later during the lake's booming days as a resort, a hotel was built near the location and also kept the name "Lake Towers"
Park on the side street (Metzner Rd!) of nearby 7-11. Be careful crossing the street as it is a very busy area. Also be careful if we have had wet conditions as you will be going downhill and you don't want to end up in the lake.
