Geocache Description:

No cache at the listed coordinates. A magnetic micro cache will be found after solving the following quiz at the Tagataisha Grand Shrine.

Tagataisha Grand Shrine enshrines a pair of gods Izanagino-ookami 伊邪那岐大神 and Izanamino-ookami 伊邪那美大神　that were believed to be the first couple ever in the Japanese mythology. They were also believed to be the parents of Amaterasu-oomikami 天照大神　that is enshrined in Isejingu.

日本の神話における最初の夫婦神である伊邪那岐大神と伊邪那美大神が祀られているのが多賀大社です。　伊勢神宮で祀られている天照大神のご両親(神)を祀っていることになります。

The shrine was preferably enshrined by Tokugawa Shogunate in the Edo period. As such an evidence, there are a pair of big pots in the shrine premises. These pots were used for sacred rite when the shrine had completed massive renovation by Tokugawa's in the Edo period.

多賀大社は江戸時代において徳川幕府により篤く崇拝されました。その証拠として大社の境内には２つの大釜が残されています。これらの大釜は江戸時代に徳川家によって大改修された際の神事に用いられたものです。

In order to find the cache, the first thing to do is to locate these big pots. Once you have found them, please stand right in front of them so that you can see the same view as the picture shown below.

Then, read GPS coordinates using either your GPS unit or smartphone application. The final coordinated can be obtained by offsetting following values (in minutes) to the measured coordinates:
