Barboursville park spreads over 750 acres and has soccer fields, tennis courts, basketball courts, volleyball courts, little league baseball and softball fields, batting cages, a football field, fishing lake and ponds, picnic areas, an amphiteater, walking trails, biking trails, a horse show ring, and an archery range. The Village of Barboursville also uses the park for the annual 4th of July fireworks which is very popular.
Inside the park is also some of the best caching in the state of West Virginia with over 40 geocaches with hundreds of total favorite points. The park has many types including traditionals, multis, unknowns, a letterbox, and Earthcache, and a Wherigo, many of which have a different D/T combo. This is just a great place to visit.
Special thanks to Clive and Juliana for hiding this cache.
