What has happened to the world famous Barnwood Bunnies?
There are been many theories, some of which suggest elicit activities!!!
The Bunnies began to recede from mid 2013 to a point where, at the beginning of 2014, just 2 or 3 were left; although sightings of these were sporadic and uncertain. The rabbits took on an almost spectral existence.
One thing is for certain, they are very much missed! The Bunnies were loved by old and young alike.
Have they finally gone; or will they ever re-appear?
No one is quite sure. Even the prolific 'leetle grey cells' of the great Hercule Poirot have failed to solve The Mystery of the Rabbits!!
Evil Edna was disappointed to part with her original Barnwood Bunnies (GC27E99), but major road works left her with no choice.
Research has made it clear that this spot should be clear of any such disruption. I certainly hope so!
