Nuts About Disney Princesses - #1 Traditional Cache
FriendlyForager: As noted by the Wench in her recent log for #2 in the series, there is a lot of development taking place in the area of #1 and #2 . Since this has been accompanied by "No Trespassing", "Private Property" and "Beware of Dog" signs it is definitely time to archive the series. Thanks to all who have visited over the years and a special thanks to the Wench who retrieved and returned the containers ( as requested) after her visit. Once I decided to put out a series of 5 Caches with a kid’s theme for COAP 2013-14 I headed to the dollar store for inspiration. The Disney Princesses were everywhere!
Now I always wanted a daughter but have only been blessed with two sons who are now in their twenties and not yet married. Although I was never one to play Princess when I was young, I think it might be fun to do so with grand daughters someday. Until then I will settle to live vicariously through this series of caches. Visits to #1-#4 will yield the clues required to deduce the location of the final challenge puzzle – Disney Princesses – A Growing Franchise.
There are currently 11 Princesses in the Disney Franchise – Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora, Ariel, Belle, Jasmine, Pocahontas, Mulan, Tiana, Rapunzel and Merida. According to Wkipedia there are unconfirmed reports that Anna and Elsa from the movie Frozen are to be added to the franchise in 2014. I have chosen 4 of my personal favourites to associate with the caches. Look under the lid for their names.
The “Nuts About” part of the series name comes from the fact that the containers are large camoed nut jars which have been through the dishwasher a couple times to ensure that all traces of the former contents are gone.
There is a bag of Disney Princess Swag marked FTF as a prize for the first to find. However if it is not your cup of tea or you can’t get it to someone who will appreciate it don’t feel obligated to take it – leave it behind and maybe the second, third, or fourth or forty-fourth :-) would like it. Likewise if you have already claimed one FTF in the series, please share the wealth by leaving it for those who follow.
