Chicken Cave

Long ago a couple of forestry engineers stumbled on this spot,
While they were mapping the forest as they had been taught.
They came across a nice cool breeze and followed and then found
It was coming from a giant hole that had sunk into the ground.

One of them went quickly in excited with the find,
The other stood and watched worried in his mind.
He didn't care for dark holes, it didn't mean he wasn't brave,
But from that very moment it has been known as Chicken Cave.

A purple ribbon is by the hide just an arms length away
And a pink bow is by the road to mark the trail to the cache.
You will find it peaceful here and you may be leaving slow
And please remember into the cave there is no need to go.

So if you are a Spelunker and a caving you want to go,
Here are a couple of important rules that you ought to know.
Be sure to take a flashlight with fresh batteries loaded,
And going in alone don't allow yourself to be goaded.
